her slow dream was interrupted- no, wait. it wasn’t a dream. it was the seven minute recap that a person experiences after their heart stops beating. how? how did it come to this? she had just been driving with sasha… hadn’t she? she remembered swerving off the road, but they had gotten back on it, hadn’t they? why, then, was she reliving the drab horrors of her life? it was slowing, though. was she finally dying? was she finally going to stop watching her life through anothers eyes? and yet, when she was finally able to open her crystal eyes that were aged far beyond her years, they were looking into the honey dipped eyes of her girfriend of a few years.

oh, no. annie thought. i killed her too.

Sasha hugs her tightly, tears streaming down her face “It worked! You are alive!” She cheers, nuzzling the blonde and peppering her in kisses. The brunette was a hysterical mess but happy none the less. “I thought i lost you for good, but i fixed it” She giggles out. She won’t have to know

“yes, I am.” her smile was unusually sweet, and sh looked up at him with such sincerety in her eyes that is was hard to doubt her words.

Marco hesitated for a moment, but reached out and took her hand.

“I never thought I’d be saying this, but I think I love you too.” He admitted sheepishly rubbing behind his head a little sheepishly.
