I’m seeing this issue on my dash about how giving blunt interpretations of cards can be harming clients and I really want to like, talk about it, because I do think it’s a very very go

This is a very complicated issue, I try to be as positive and as honest as possible and some questions I’m just put right uncomfortable answering because I do great that the answer might be harmful. So far it hasn’t been too bad too often, and I adjust my guidelines to what I think is best, but from a practicing tarot reader to those if you who are experienced professionals. Is it wrong to not answer certain questions to avoid harm, and if not how do you deal with those questions?

Sometimes adult cats respond poorly to kittens because they fear mama cat is nearby and ready to pounce if anything bad happens. So they will try to scare kitten away, even if kitten seeks love or affection from an older cat, because they don't want the mama cat to smell the older cat on the baby.

That...actually makes a lot of sense. Penny is about 6-8 months old, so she’s weaned and everything, but she’s still pretty small. And Havoc does keep looking around and kind of peering at her apprehensively. He’s only about a year and a half old, but he’s a big boy.

I like to sleep in the morning, so not so fond. lol

Sachet: What are your favorite herbs?

Probably lavender, yarrow, really anything with great smelling flowers! lol.

Broom stick: Where have you been where you could feel the magick?

Hmm. I don’t know if I have necessarily been anywhere where I could feel the magic, but there are certainly places where I have felt a great peace. Two of them were out in the woods- a camp and a family cabin.

Lol. Those are super old posts I apparently never reblogged and tagged. I’m trying to tag all of my divination testimonials.

I do antler casting readings through my shop on etsy. I created the system! Each slice has a symbol on it, and how they lay when they are tossed determines the reading.

mmm no?  I didn’t think you were referring to yourself with that comment, tbh

All I intended was to point out that not everyone needs to be reminded of drama and that anyone who didn’t want to go didn’t have to.  Like, that’s an individual choice obviously, to be made on a case by case basis for whatever personal reasons. 

Dev was trying to do something nice for newbies.  And she tagged the diviners that she respects/looks up to/finds value in.  And I think that’s something that we should all remember; despite any personal grievances within the community at large, at the core I think that we’re all pretty decent people who kinda share a common goal and give pretty solid information and are willing to answer questions and help people out when they need it. 

Not everyone needs/wants to pick a side and it’s uncomfortable to constantly be reminded of people’s personal biases (even if they have a good reason for them).
