Random Dresden Files Thought of the Day: I’ve probably said this before somewhere, but I’ve always headcanoned Molly Carpenter as fat, and no matter how many times I re-read the books that hasn’t changed at all. No matter how many times the text tells me she’s “built like a pin-up model” or w/e, in my imagination Molly will always have love handles and thick thighs. It makes her knowing how hot she is mean something more than if she was a traditionally attractive, thin woman. It makes the “Bombshells” line-up of Molly, Andi, and Justine a little more diverse. It makes her physical skill and using subtle magic hella cooler. It means “needs to be a stick-thin supermodel” isn’t in the faerie queen job description. Like… I just can’t express enough how much I love this headcanon, and how much more I’d love Molly if it was actually a thing.
