We’ve got the full gang with side profiles and crossed path dynamics!
Constantyn and Hollys (formerly Hildel) are the classic princess and the pauper dynamic, only they cannot help but get on each other’s nerves at all times. Constantyn sees Hollys as a prissy stuck-up rich girl, while Hollys sees Constantyn as a good-for-nothing street urchin.
Olympea (formerly Octavianne) and Tianxing are at constant odds with each other over the age old question of the end versus the means. Whereas Olympea sees herself as an honorable solider (doubtful), Tianxing is not above using as many cursed relics and ornaments as there are stars in the sky to get what she wants.
Tedolfo and Paedyr are both lords in their own right, but their quality and circumstances vary heavily. Whereas Paedyr is a lord of a powerful house and is all the talk in the world without anything to back it up, Tedolfo is from a disgraced house and has been raised to be all action to prove his family worthy again. Of course, this goes wonderfully for the two of them.
And then Orchide and Al-Karim, the “Witch” and the “Witch Hunter”. Orchide has a mixed reputation among the travelers for her “witchcraft” with her salves and rootwork. But Al-Karim, the ever faithful cleric, sees through her and only accepts traveling with her for convenience. Though, Orchide does have a way of getting on Al-Karim’s good side, and pointing out the two aren’t as different as he may assume them to be…
