Plot twist Jeff had to name Callie because Shauna was not only dealing with complications with Callie’s existence but also because she was still mourning the loss of Jackie 7 years after they got saved ( thats about around the time Callie was born ) and she was also coming to terms with how her life was going to be for the rest of her life without Jackie.
