Tour

We have been in our house for 9 weeks.  Things are starting to look and feel a bit different.  When we moved in we set up our kitchen in the living room and it looked like this.  What more do you need than a microwave and a refrigerator?  The fridge is around the corner in the actual kitchen.  

It still pretty much looks like this except we moved some furniture away from the wall and the lil guys work bench is now in the play area. Kitchen cabinets are coming at the start of next week.  Bout time!

The other side of the room was a little scary. The day of move in we had some minor set backs and just about everything was dumped into the living area.  The stacks were so high!

This picture is after I went through and organized the pile.  To the right of the stairs are kitchen boxes and to the left everything else :-) I am happy to say that the pile has really shrunk!  Check it out as of yesterday.

Where all those boxes were is now a play area.  There are still some boxes, but only a fraction compared to what once was.  Oh and my favorite things still in our living area is a set of wheels... They make a nice coat rack, fa real!

This is the crazy kitchen storage/work area.  Wont be like this for much longer.  Everyone needs a wheelbarrow in their kitchen, right?  We have appliance boxes, two refrigerators, a giant refrigerator box (A.K.A. Griffn's Cave) a few saws, giant table and two china cabinets... The crazy thing is there is room for more stuff, the kitchen is huge!

Here is the powder room.  She is patiently waiting for her makeover :-) 

This is the laundry room, which will look different soon.  We are waiting for the new washer and dryer and we are going to paint and move the cabinets around.  It is a long narrow space that has potential.

After writing this I'm thinking I should not have sat down, because now I do not want to get back up... ughhh.  Back to work!
