“i hope death is like being carried to your bedroom when were a child and fell asleep on the couch during a family party. i hope you can hear the laughter from the next room”

i feel like this is exactly how it would be, but more importantly, how do people come up with such accurate analogies for death, having never experienced it before? not saying that in a ‘everything you’re saying is crap and i don’t belive you’ way but in a ‘im baffled by the accuracy and am begrudgingly admitting that you are either an immortal being who yearns to experience death or a mortal in their 8th life cycle, with vivid memories of how each of your past ones ended, and how they felt each time’ because how else would you explain the way you make saying goodbye sound so unbearably fond?
