I’ve always been inspired by the beautiful colours in life. In my photography, I focused on colourful scenes shot with colour film, but I recently decided to load a roll of black and white. I didn’t understand the beauty of monocrome until my photos came back, and I realised that there is something striking and magical about viewing the world in black and white. It’s a unique and uncomplicated perspective. These were some of my first experiments.
