Marieke van Vugt is a neuroscientist, but also likes to dance in her free time. She can answer questions about meditation, neuroscience, ballet, mind-wandering, and the intersection between all these things.

The inner technology isn't developed enough and until those two technologies become even and the inner technology catches up with the outer one, we won't be able to use brain imaging technology to it's fullest extent. And until then, our love affair with colorful blobs is really just a marketing opportunity that represents the poverty of our inner technology.
