💅🏻Designing Your Lewk💅🏻 . Design is purposeful planning with intention behind an action. In art, it's all about considering line, color, shape, form, value, space, and texture. . After the past year of getting obsessed with Rupaul's Drag Race and the drag community, I was super inspired by how they design their looks, express themselves creatively, and freely share a part of their identity with the world. . After all, like @rupaulofficial has said, we are all born naked, and the rest is drag! . After discovering @emiliafarts on YouTube, I was inspired by how she intentionally designs her look and her devotion in embracing her true self despite anyone's judgments. . So ya, I'm going to rock my crystal crown. I'm going to wear artsy, mystical clothing. I'm going to dye my hair whatever color I want and fill my body with artistic tattoos. I'm not holding back anymore or apologizing to anyone because being a spiritual, artsy, creative woman is a part of my identity and how I express myself, even if it means I am a cartoon character. 🔮 Magical Living 🔮 . This past Venus RX forced me to go inward and reflect on how I treat myself. With lofty goals, it's easy to get swept up in the race and we tend to forget it's a marathon, so pace yourselves! . I used to work so hard, waiting for the day it would pay off and I could ease up on myself...but this past year and being presented with opportunities to hang out with my mentors...I learned a secret: the hard work NEVER stops! . They taught me that you will always have bigger goals and you will never be satisfied and stop doing the work. Once you achieve one goal, then it's onto the next one then the next one then the next one! This is known as the journey (wise words by @stephensilver7 ) . That is why it is so important to take care of yourself along this journey. I had burnt myself out by working so hard, I almost killed my joy of art. And that was the whole point in following this dream! . Take care of yourself or you risk burning out, then you will have the stamina and work ethic to make it far. How can you fill up another's cup (like your dreams) if you are running on empty? . This Venus RX I started some mad self love rituals. I do these on the daily and they sure fill my cup up! . 🌟 Morning meditation 🌟 Gratitude ritual 🌟 Affirmations 🌟 Journaling with a cup of tea 🌟 Visualization 🌟 Qi Gong 🌟 Yoga 🌟 Shower meditation to wash off old energies 🌟Dressing up creatively .
