(I feel like this is a very similar thing to a Lavellan/Dorian situation, but even trickier, especially if it’s a City elf who’s family was directly involved with him selling the alienage elves into slavery. Like, that is not something you just brush over. But more than just that part, I think Loghain has been way too much of a monumental opposition on various fronts to the Warden to be an LI for anyone.And if someone made the defence of, “Loghain also has a positive history with the Night Elves,” I’d respond asking them if that make up for selling your people--possibly your family--into slavery? Absolutely not ever.Maybe with an elf before the events of DA:O. (I like the idea of the Inquisitor making Dorian change, but if it’s the other way around, that is so not okay with me. So, it depends on how the player plays it. A Lavellan who gets after him about that shit is a-okay. A Lavellan who either ignores the subject that definitely should be discussed if they are going to be in a relationship, or a Lavellan who is like, “You’re right, slavery has it’s merits,” is cringe-worthy.)So: It’s okay.
