It appears tumblr is my ‘go to’ place for posting things atm, so I figured I’d drop Jesse. 

Some fun or not facts about it and our Control fun booth:

1. The jacket is actually my Clary Fray jacket which I never got to use for Clary. The booth team needed a Jesse and I was like, wait a minute, I just happen to have the jacket and maybe it’s high time I check out the game! The jacket ended up only lasting for those two convention days (barely) before faux leather literally fell off... Been looking for a new one since July. :( And this is literally the only cosplay I’ve done without a wig in years, it was just... way easier to dye my hair. no complaints here, I love being a redhead, NEVER going back to Rey’s color

2. The booth team actually did some pretty neat quests for visitors like collecting the mold (cotton wool) or talking to plants. There was also some singing in Finnish involved if I remember correctly... I was mainly on the other side of the booth from our Ahti so sadly the plants talking and singing happened mostly without me. 

3. OOOOH also we had the hotline!!! You had to use the switch three times (the lighting in the hotline booth would change each time juuuust like the game) and then the hotline rang. My favorite thing to do was to bring legit everyone I know to the booth and tell them to pull the switch. What the team did was just too cool for me I only had a hand in decorating the table, I’m no electrician, I needed everyone to see that, and only a few quest undergoers got to the hotline bit. :( Almost everyone’s reaction was, ‘Will it shock me?’ because I guess that’s what one would expect, right?.. And then of course they’d have to listen to the Board speaking jibberish on the phone. My favorite reaction was one person yelling, ‘F*cking realtors, don’t call here ever again!’ in reply. 

There are some more fun facts about this Control booth, if anyone’s interested, I’d be more than happy to share more.

So since the previous Control post is doing surprisingly well & someone mentioned the Flamingo in the tags, here are some more pics with altered items aka my best of friends for the con: Pink Flamingo and Rubber Duck!

Post is guest starring my actual friends darklydreaming as Connor from DBH yay for crossovers and AndraSkela who’s actually the reason I was Jesse in the first place.

I don’t remember if Flamingo was part of our quests... It probably was? :D But the visitors did have to look for the ever elusive Duck! Ya know. The struggle to catch that one irritating quacking piece of work. 🦆

I was constantly borrowing one or the other, the Duck just because, and the Flamingo ‘cause it’s way easier to pose for photos when you have something or someone to pose with.
