so I met a new friend who recently opened up about his self-harm.
I experimented with it for the first time in years and I'm not sure how I feel about it
is this a relapse? was I triggered?
anyway, trick, every time my brain does its addicted/terrified combo ‘gotta! focus on something else!’ thing i sometimes manage to make the ‘escape’ (dopamine-rush/relief) a deeper focus on the material itself
and the fact that works just shows how much that spongy mass of flesh has recovered
