In mid-sixteenth century England, something was wrong with time: a helicopter flitted through the air, people were using slang from the 1980s, and one order of monks had gotten their hands on a fully functioning television set that proved so riveting that it distracted them from their religious duties.
The source of all this meddling sat in a darkened room of the local monastery, watching the ensuing chaos on a monitor ripped from his TARDIS’ console.
