How Can I Deal With Controller Hate?

If you are a DJ who started DJing using only controllers, you have to have to some pretty thick skin for the DJ game.  Many of the guys who use controller systems at the club only do so because they do not want to lug some heavy turntables around for the rest of the night.  At home, they are fully capable of using other methods to DJ which includes CD players and even vinyl records.  Of course, there are many new DJs who see this and figure that they can become just as great with a limited amount of tools to pick from.  Once they pick up that first controller, they soon learn that learning to scratch on one is not as easy as some have made it look. To be fair, there is a fair amount of unjust hate that is flung towards controller users out there.  Not all of them want to scratch, and not all of them are posers who want to emulate what the big boys do.  Some of them are completely comfortable mixing from deck A to deck B; this is their style and it is what they do.  They are going to receive a good amount of hate for just being themselves. http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2013/10/can-deal-controller-hate/
