Round 2:
Which synth do you like more?
Alesis Andromeda A6
Roland Juno 60
Remember, this is based off of LOOKS, not sound or reputation.
ALESIS RECITAL PRO
中古ですが動作に問題ないようで、早いうちに購入するかもしれません。

i don’t care if it’s his most streamed song, alesis is incredibly underrated. SO underrated in fact, that everyone needs to listen to it right now for now and forever 💙
Mk.gee - Alesis [dj lukinhas & the dream police edit]
Andrea Latorre asked to sit with me just before the SDH sound check! I told her yes by gesturing with my open palm. I didn’t recognize her!
I’d noticed her watching the openers perform in the darkened bar throughout the evening, but I’d not realized who she was.
So I guess the moral of the story is that if you are going to see a band you like at a small venue, be certain to look carefully at the people in attendance.
One of them may very well be someone you really wished you’d flirted with!
Who knows? You could end up touring with them as some sort of lover/staghand, crisscrossing the globe on a dark musical adventure.
In all seriousness though, it was an opportunity to be outgoing and to speak someone who’s art you enjoy and wish to emulate in some way.
I loved when she’d scan the audience with her gaze, making eye contact with us.
I wonder if she liked my dancing?
Oh, I’m doing my Pisces thing now. 💭💖✨
I did some gear spying. SDH used a single midi controller of a type I can’t name but recognize from shopping. The midi controller was connected to a MacBook Pro running an unknown DAW. This means that only one of the track instruments was being controlled live. The only other piece of equipment I identified was an Alesis drum pad, a SamplePad Pro I think.
One of the openers was a band that’s new to me, a Chicago band named clubdrugs. They were great! Really interesting. The only piece of equipment of theirs I identified was a Korg Monologue. They also played guitar live and used a midi controller with an unknown DAW. I’d describe them as sort of post punk in their rhythms and goth in their melodies, but in a way that veers into dream pop or even grunge. At least this is how it felt live. It was inspiring because I’ve been trying to figure out how I might combine these genres myself.
I wish I’d gotten closer to the stage so I could see what effects pedals everyone was using!
Below is part of SDH’s sound check. Andrea, if you’re reading this, I love you! Marry me!
