Honestly, there was cloud cover for almost half the time that I was there. Still warm, but not humid. Enough breezes to make a vendor need to keep prints from flying.

Several people had parasols. I wore a hat. Saw a vendor who sold hats.

Outdoor vendors had air and breezes. Heard a vendor say it was easier to breathe than the usual AX Artist Alley space.

There was some shade beside the indoor vendors' building and in/at the vendors' tents.

Could have used some seating, but there was a short curb to sut at and some space set aside for an empty table, when i needed to recuperate or get away from people.

You could buy iced matcha and $1 cookies. Though I think they sold out early.

Compared to how packed AX artist alley gets, the outdoor aisles were mostly room. Traffic cleared up if you came by the same booths again. And the only real lines and traffic were at the indoor space. But they started making entry lines for that area, and the indoor area stopped reminding me of AX.

Surprisingly, for such a relatively small space, there was so much to see. And not being as massive as AX Artist Alley turned out to be a blessing. I wasn't left with that regret of not seeing everything. Each and every artist had ao much, and I actually had the time to see it all, cone back to see things I'd missed, and take time deciding on my purchases.

I hope they do this event next year too. I was considering returning to AX, but maybe I'll just keep attending this event instead. It's free, I can go in/out at my leisure (if I need to go to Little Tokyo too), and all my budget can go to artists instead. Love it. Going again for day 2. Highly recommend. 💖
