Convergence Confessions:
An interview series based on readings from Henry Jenkins’s Convergence Culture
We interviewed ten individuals from the media studies program at The New School in New York; most graduate, some undergraduate and even a teenager, who is still in high school. The intention is to develop a stronger grasp and understanding of individual experience with convergence thinking, as well as organic and honest observations of how the relationship between convergence culture, participatory culture, and collective intelligence has shaped and shifted global cultures. In conclusion, we ask: what’s next? What is the future of convergence culture?
