Each kingdom had been, in many ways, prepared for war, but not so soon, and not with a new Kingdom in a land they had thought would become the battleground between the three of them. Destarinβs resistance to be a pawn for the rulers of Keiseio was unexpected, which simply showed how underestimated those within Destarin were to those outside. The accusation of Destarin to the Kingdoms - that they had been used as a means to start a war by all three Kingdoms - was, of course, facing backlash and a manipulation of the narrative by each of the Kingdoms.
ENVRIONMENTAL UPDATES
The Re d'Crirtha Alessio Amato asserted that, had the other Kingdomβs had plans of instigating a war, he was not involved in such a deceitful act. He told the people of Crirtha it was the King of Withermoreβs doing surely - why else would The Kingdom of Convergenceβs Princess du Praecti Sang Bellamy Chevasym kill so many Withermore royals? As a show of good faith to Destarin he insisted trade would continue with the new Kingdom, and that not armies of Cheridi or Withermore would be allowed access to the new Kingdom through Crithaβs borders.
The King of Withermore, Alistar Vasiliev, upon the death of his many royals at the hands of the Princess du praecti sang Bellamy Chevasym, has been staving off a coo. His sister, The Princes Royal Olesechka Vasiliev, has finally found enough supporters to challenge his reign - taking over the half of Withermore, from the capital to the West, while denying her brother access to Destarin until he concedes the rest of the Kingdom to her and her many supporters.
The Emperor Asukai Katsuhirio of Cheridi admits he doubted there was any likelihood that Destarin would be a city for peace, so they had made no efforts either direction but had simply gone through the diplomatic process that had been intended when making Destarin a symbol of peace, but has spoken little on the prospect for war. The Shogun, Oe Kiyoko, has been privately advising the many wealthy and powerful families of Cheridi to be patient but to prepare, to reinforce strongholds in other Kingdoms - and so many have left children, cousins, fatherβs or more in the hearts of other Kingdoms.

The Library has officially be restored and reopened with a large selection of books, many of which can be checked out, while historical texts, or rare pieces must be read at the library itself.
The Crown Belle Academy, Destarinβs first school established by the Princess, has officially finished construction and is in the process of hiring educators, creating a curriculum and furnishing, but is available to be toured. It will, within the next year, be open to teaching those of all learning levels from basic writing, reading and arithmetic, all the way up to advanced alchemy, as well as helping aid those who seek more practical skills in being educated in nearby establishments.
The Town Restoration Council Representative, Asvari Dien, has been reworking the Kingdomβs celebration calendar and has been working with the King, and those from across all continents, to determine what celebrations should be held within the new Kingdom of Convergence, all of which will begin with the townβs bicentennial.
Three nearby towns to the East of Destarin have, by way of Notelaih Saldores and with the protection of local guilds that continue to act as military forces for the Kingdom until a formal army is established, been incorporated into the Kingdom of Convergence. Their inclusion was after the removal of their Lord, and with consent of the townsfolk, though some did leave and choose to move further East so they might remain in Withermore, many have either remained in their towns or taken safe haven in Destarin.
The court has begun listing positions within the town that are intended to maintain the beauty of the town and create consistency. Positions such as lamp lighter, town horticulturalist, and district cleaners have been listed. It is appreciated any of the townsfolk who continue to help maintain this things as people are hired and during the transition period.

The crown was laid upon the jesters head by the remaining members of the council as the town looked on. Though all had been elected to their positions - Merrymock as Governor, Asvari for Town Restoration, Notelaih for Safety Preparedness and Bellamy for Right Services - none were the most trustworthy of people, but that in itself was what made them trustworthy. They did not declare themselves honourable with knighthoods or lineage as those in the courts did, they were as much criminals as those before them. So when they declared the deaths the town had suffered to be the courts manipulating them into the start of a war that each Kingdom might take over another no one seemed to question this. The only way they would be safe was to stand their ground, no longer permit themselves to remain pawns in the other courts games. If the other Kingdom's would play chess then they would play checkers and laugh with each move.
The first was to enact the King they had voted for, that had made them shiver for a king of jokes would not bend to sanity. The crown placed upon Merry's head was not encrusted with jewels but silly bells, not even made of gold but rather one of copper, that would. if worn for too long, make the man's skin turn a horrific green, it was not large but it did jingle as he stood and gave a dramatic bow to the crowd that he insist celebrate by pelting him with the remains of the strawberries that had been grown at the demand of the other courts and had since rotted..

The crowd seemed gleeful enough in this, though many aimed for the stage rather than the charismatic jester, but the scene did not conclude, the vampire woman began to drag a family of Withermore origin, their expensive clothes denoting a royal status to the Withermore crown, to the stage. Merrymock laughed as they were pelted with the very same strawberries that now covered his own form, some hitting the garment of the vampire that dragged them up. In seconds their throats were slashed, one by one they bled out, their own red syrup mixing with the puree of rotting strawberries.
They would take no prisoners and offer no sympathy to those who would try and change their ways or destroy their town again.
It was Asvari who offered up a more enlightened conclusion to the event. He invited all inside to a feast, a celebration of what was to come, and a promise that more information would be shared as to how the transition would be handled. Already the council had prepared far more than they had been allowed under the thumb of the other Kingdom's.
Asvari had prepared a beautiful feast in the dining hall within, decorated and blossoming with all sorts of flowers as well as being amplified by his illusory magics. Bellamy had already begun turning an old temple into a school and would likely spend the evening seeing teachers, Notelaih had prepared the borders of the town for the repercussions of the other courts, and Merrymock had, in good fashion, prepared an amusing show for the town once inside.

OPENING EVENT!
4TH OF JULY at 6PM EST our DASH EVENT will begin and condlude on the 12TH OF JULY at 6PM EST
Voted for by players this opening event will be a short dash event that will run as a small feast held in the new court! Your characters may officially interact as their titles across all threads and discuss what has just occurred. You are welcome to canon as much as you like regarding food but keep in mind the court is, at it's inception certainly, a modest one. The walls will not be adorned with gold, there will not be jewels everywhere, but there is most certainly art that is intended as representation of the town and has likely been procured from local artists by Asvari, and it is littered with beautiful flowers perhaps appearing to sparkle or let off little firewors.
How will a dash event work?
One week for short threads so players can potentially power through threads.
You do not need threads to conclude by the end date but it is suggested that they are and no more can be started after the 12th.
We suggest the posts be 1-2 paragraphs long.
You are not mandated to participate but we would love to see it.
Do I need to drop my threads?
Nope! Just as was said before, no one needs to drop current threads.
What if I can't make the event?
All good! All events are open to players participation though environmental changes should still be acknowledged in other threads.

If your character is a royal they may choose to live at court or in their own estate so as of the 4th they will make that shift, and may also be addressed by their title if they choose, if you are looking for a characters title it is both in their biography and on the masterlist, any striken titles mean they are not recognised by Destarin and are titles from other courts or from past lives.
