Almost everyone within the base was tense and those who worked in the tactics division were not immune to the weird vibe that had been going on. The recent, completely over the top security measures only seemed to make this worse. But none of that seemed to matter, even with everyone on edge Atlas insisted on ‘business as usual’ which mean exactly what it sounded like it meant. The two tactic agents were stuck in one of the briefing rooms, working over the last couple of details for a mission they’d be sending a small infiltration and extraction only group on. It wasn’t often they worked together, only seeking a fresh pair of eyes from time to time but some missions called for multiple perspectives “Okay, Greyson” Cassie started, clearly losing her patience with the man. On the table in front of them was a set of holographic blueprints for the building they were instructed that the metahuman had been kept in “Look- if we split the group up and have the second coming in this way while the first is over here” she pointed to various entry points, one on the upper level and one on the lower level “The first group can incapacitate anyone up here that might make they’re way down. You can’t just send them all in on the ground. What’s the point in sending four of them if that’s the case?”
