Luke was silhouetted against the hallway as he paused in the doorway to the common room that connected his, Leia’s, and Han’s rooms. Outside the base, one of Endor’s other moons could be seen -- it was late enough that it was visible, glowing against the night. It was late enough that both he and Leia should have been sleeping, but here they were.
“Hey,” he said softly as he came up next to her and sat. “Are you okay?”
“Oh my god! I can’t tell you how much I missed you! I swear you’re not allowed to leave again without me. I was going absolutely nuts being here without you, I was starting to climb the walls and Penguin probably thinks I’m crazy. It’s so good to have you back home! You’re going to have to walk around with me attached to you cause I’m not letting go, ever.”
