Topher had messaged Sofia right away when they'd heard about the vegan lunch at Moonshine - a place they usually thought was too expensive for them. They figured Sofia might like it, and as would her partner, and they would take the opportunity to talk with her again, because they really liked her. There weren't a whole lot of people Topher looked up to, but Sofia was certainly on the short list.

They put the menu away when Sofia showed up, a huge smile on their face. "Hey! They got a lot of food, I uhm... I figured you'd want to try some, they do delivery as well, but I was wondering if you'd like to try a few things out with me, before you bring more to Micah? If you have the time?" they asked. They could've asked over text, but they'd never been good at texting.

CLOSED STARTER for Sofia @thesofiavaldez location ; along Fabio's ghost tour route

Fabio knew they weren't a local, but that hadn't stopped them from picking up the 'ghost tour', there had already been a fifty year old former actor who did the main route, who took Fabio under his wings and explained the stories. And then they took it over and gave it their own spin. They did a ghost tour most evenings, and a historical tour during the day. Some weeks there were more people around - like the Easter break - others they'd have an audience of maybe four.

Since it didn't cost them any money, Fabio never cancelled. "Now, this place is said to be the place where the Vikings first landed when they came to Fenrir's Wood. It's said that there used to be the Main Hall here, but it was burned down along with half of the population of the small town inside, their ghosts roam this place and every spot along the lake. Unable to move on because they were never able to plant their roots in this new land."

They grinned as a few people looked around, trying to find hints of it probably. "And that means we're at our half-way point, there is a small cafe right there," they pointed at a small business at the lake-side. "You can get something hot to drink to warm you up, and we'll pick up the tour in half an hour."

Fabio waved them all away and walked up to the one person who seemed to be there alone. "First time on a ghost tour?" they asked.

Helia had kept her distance from the two new witches, though she'd send the Christmas gift package regardless, she simply could not help herself. It had taken a good number of days to get everything ready for everyone, but that didn't matter. She did it every year, and she would continue to do it until she was old and frail.

However, when she did see Sofia appear on the same street she was walking on, she couldn't help but notice a slight tension in the other's shoulders, and she couldn't help reaching for her in that moment either. Yet, before she got close enough to gently call out for Sofia, she stumbled over her own feet, hitting a trash can on the way down. There weren't any people around except for Sofia, and she was sure she'd made some horrible noises on her way down.

So much for her kindly re-introduction.

Hasan enjoyed having lunch away from the hospital, his next surgery wouldn’t be until a few hours, meaning he had time to go out into the city, find a place to eat and have a sit. Perhaps he’d read a paper, maybe he’d play some games on his phone, most likely he’d be looking outside, enjoying the sunny weather - for once. He sat down with his cheese sandwich, his cup of tea, and the paper. He was dressed in his doctor’s coat, which always got him stared at, he smiled at those faces. He pointed at the person on the outside of the big wooden table, the only other person who wasn’t hiding behind a computer or a phone. “Can I bother you for the sugar?” he asked, pointing at the sugar pot.

Bodhi pressed his warm winter jacket closer to his body, and got into the cafe, quickly closing the door behind him to not let the cold seep in. The place was quiet, most people seemed to be waiting at home for the fog to pass. He wasn’t so sure it would. This too, was supernatural. It wasn’t his job right now, he still had one he needed to do. While he took on smaller jobs as well just to justice him staying in this city for so long. 

His laptop back at the station, Bodhi could order coffee and sit down without wanting to get back to the case currently on his agenda. He inhaled the coffee, a much better quality than what he could get at the station. He picked a spot near the window, leaning back in the comfortable seat and letting out a sigh. He looked at the person in the seat at the next table. “Are you okay? Long day at work?” he asked.

Pack politics in Fenrir’s Wood weren’t that difficult: you had Fenrir Pack, the main pack, the OGs, the ones with all the power and all the ego. Then there was Slough, the ones who had cut themselves off from Fenrir but still sort of participated. And lastly Glover, who didn’t want fuck all to do with the other two packs and really got that outsider aesthetic down to a T.

Meaning that when Fenrir Pack was without suitable leadership and their second commanders had to do everything, much of the responsibility during the full moons fell on the other packs.

Meaning it fell on Nishant and Aldemar.

And Nishant was done.

Probably a bit too dramatic, but he sat on a bar stool at Velvet, his head hanging with his forehead resting on the counter top, and nursing his drink - which had zero effect because he was still a fucking werewolf - and decided he was allowed dramatics.

He could sniff that his current company - if she wished to be called that was another - was a Witch, meaning he felt less worried about sharing in his woes. “Another full moon, another fun experience with idiots who think having no leadership means they can start shit. I’m so done with people, if I could, I’d reintroduce basements with chains.”

Bodhi supposed the way the relationship between himself and Evanora was going, was in fact something of an update. Though for the past weeks, he'd been enjoying the secrecy and intimacy of being with someone out of sight of most people. Not that he would've cared either way, he did keep some distance between himself and most citizens of Fenrir's Wood.

Except for Sofia and a few others.

He got up from the small table he'd claimed when he saw Sofia enter, a smile on his face and a little wave so she would notice him quicker. "Good afternoon, I figured a chance of scenery would be nice, and I have a soft spot for limited edition food items."

CLOSED STARTER for @thesofiavaldez location ; velvet happy hour / after 8 pm

Nishant had gone to the tree, only for a moment, only to show his face. While he'd known some people personally, he wasn't close to any of them. Still, he needed a distraction, and what better way to find one than to invite a friend who wouldn't question his longing looks into the crowds and the constant anxiety surrounding his dramatic love life.

"Hi Mom!" he said loudly as he spotted Sofia coming in. He'd been waiting by the door because he'd feel bad if she had to text him to find him. He smiled brightly, he'd already had some drinks, and he'd need many many more to feel drunk, but his cheeks were red and his eyes watery. Velvet was hard to get into, but not if you were a pack leader. Getting a plus-one wasn't hard either, though he figured the security at the front would've gladly let Sofia pass. "What do you want to drink?"
