Evil Anthems: CJ and Cora
Cora held her flamingo feather quill over her paper, humming to herself. "Evil Anthems," which covered all the famous songs sung by villainous parents everywhere, was her absolute favorite class at Dragon Hall. Aside from the fact that they got to listen to the "classics," including such iconic songs as "Be Prepared," and "Poor Unfortunate Souls" (and Cora had to admit, while she wasn't a fan of Uma's, her mother's song was epic), this was also the one time Cora got to sing and not have to worry about being seen as too princessy (it also helped that bats didn't often find their way into the classroom). The VKs were EXPECTED to sing in Evil Anthems, and not only sing, but sing well. Not singing? Not an option.
Their professor, ironically enough, was Judge Claude Frollo. Despite his strict ideals, his morals were dubious (to put it politely), and his evil anthem, while lesser known, was one of Cora's favorites. He had a sense of drama (along with a backing chorus), and Cora greatly admired it. Frollo had just finished a lecture on how to properly utilize the environment to complement their anthems when another student raised her hand. CJ Hook. @askcjhook
Cora paused, trying to decide if she was annoyed or not. It wasn't that she didn't like CJ. In fact, she did, most of the time. It was just in THIS class, the two tended to get a little...competitive. And once Frollo was done with his lecture, usually everyone got their chance to sing. If CJ started some big debate with Frollo that kept them from singing today, Cora would NOT be happy...
