Lock Me Up and Throw Away The Key | Luca & Jack
Luca sighed as he walked with heavy steps toward the room of requirement where it was his intention of staying until all this blew over. If it ever did blow over... In the uncomfortable silence he glanced over at Jack every once in a while. He knew things couldn't just go back to the way they were before. In the matter of only a few hours he had hurt the only people who meant anything to him. Jack, Tink, Dorian, even his newly discovered twin sister Dinah had been caught in the crosshairs of his possession... or whatever it was that happened to him. He didn't know how he could prevent it from happening again, but this was the best option he could think of right now.
He turned to his right to see his reflection in a window and there were those eyes, still glowing yellow to remind him the worst was yet to come. It made him angry and afraid. He clenched his fists trying to hold in the pressure building up inside of him, but as he released his right hand the glass shattered as he passed.
He jumped in surprise, running into Jack, holding one hand to his chest and one hand out towards where the window had blown to pieces. Catching his breath from the shock it had given him he felt himself collapsing to the floor, taking a hold of Jack's shirt as his knees gave in.
He braced himself on all fours on the ground, breathing heavily as he tried to calm himself. His head was burning and he could feel the glow in his eyes growing brighter as they began to light the ground below him. He shut his eyes tight and, half against his will, let out a soul wrenching scream that echoed through the halls. All around them glass began to shatter, flying everywhere. He threw his head back and his eyes flew open, the glow now illuminating the entire corridor in one great burst before he crumpled to the ground shaking and whimpering.
He curled himself into a ball clutching his knees close to his chest, gasping for air and whispered to himself, "W-what's happening to me?"
