Quickly finishing tying up her gear, Vidia grabbed her broom and headed out onto the Quidditch pitch. Matches for the year hadn’t started yet and so the grounds were uncharacteristically quiet and not decorated with the house regalia- though she preferred it that way. She had two hours before her alchemy class and the pitch all to herself, and Vidia took a deep breath of the fresh morning air. “Merlin, it’s good to be back.”

Hiccup valiantly tried to deny and ignore the fact that he had gotten lost. He was a fifth-year Ravenclaw, for Merlin’s sake. He shouldn’t get lost, especially not considering he’d been regularly exploring the castle during his earlier years there.

Of course, during earlier explorations, Hiccup hadn’t been alone, and he hadn’t had other things on his mind. His leg had started acting up something extreme after dinner, and since he didn’t feel like going to the Hospital Wing one of the first nights back, he’d planned to walk it off. It wasn’t working all that well.

“Oh, damn it!” Hiccup cursed as he stumbled into a wall when his leg decided to cramp. “Bloody castle and it’s Merlin-damned walls.”

Mor'du ran through the halls, stopping everyone he could on his way. Never before had he asked so many people for assistance, but he hadn't seen Ursula for days and was beginning to worry. He was determined to find someone who could be of any use. He took hold of someone's arm, "Have you seen Ursula?" she just looked at him in terror, part fear of him and part fear of telling him. "Stop looking at me like that! I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to know where she is!" The girl shook her head wildly, struggling in his grasp. He let her go and she scurried away as fast as she could. He had stopped tens of people in a similar fashion, each gave him similar responses - speechless horror. He looked around frantically, hoping someone would help, but everyone was just too afraid. "Why won't any of you tell me where she is!" he screamed through the hall. But they all just kept their distance from him. He began to feel more and more desperate, "Please!" he called through the corridors in a defeated tone, "someone... anyone... if you know anything... please help me find Ursula Current."
