Benjy&Andromeda

Andy held the briefing file in her hand. They were already running behind schedule but that wasn’t shocking. Getting out of the house this morning had been challenging in the Tonk’s house.Dora had wanted to were her green sparkle robe which covered in spaghetti sauce, the whole tantrum had held her up. Thankfully it was Benjy, she was had to wait on so he was just about as late as she was. 

“Ready?” She asked looking at Benjy as he made his way from his desk towards the exit. “Should be interesting, you keep a close eye on Mum while I take to the kids.”

Walking wasn’t easy and Mary’s writs ached from the rope that had bound her. The cuts on her knees had long since bleed through her jeans and now. Benjy’s house had been the only place she could think of nearby. He’d help her in whatever way he could. She’d probably get a lecture and she deserved that. Waiting at the door her knees had taken all the abuse they could bare for the one day and buckle under her weight. Falling into the door frame Mary leaned there staying as upright as she could. 

The door opened and Mary looked up. “H-hey, Benjy. Can I stay here tonight?”

Meetings and Murmurs//Andy&Beny

Andromeda hated taking polyjuice potion it felt unnatural to not be herself. Walking up to the bar she leaned over the counter and told the barkeep her order. The older woman gave her a strange look but didn’t hesitate to bring her what she had ordered. Andromeda sat behind the three drinks waiting for someone to approach her. Looking down at her wrist Benjy should be here by now.

The news of Benjy’s accident was all over the prophet as Mary sat in the waiting room. Despite Mary’s best effort, she couldn’t ignore it. She’d managed to purge herself of magic almost entirely. But for Benjy she found herself being pulled back into the mess. Mary’s healer's appointments were never fun but this was especially stressful as she imagined her ex half dead in a bed down the hall. Once she was given the clear her potions were refilled she moved  fast. The clinking of glass potions echoing through the hallway behind her.

Turning into his room, she could see the slow rise and fall of his chest and Mary felt herself breathe for the first time since she’d seen that mornings paper in the waiting room. Looking down at him Mary tried to keep her hands from shaking. 

“Hey Benj,” She said knowing he wouldn’t answer. There was a chair beside him and Mary placed her bag down pulling out the book she’d been reading. With another sigh and resolve, she hadn’t known she had, Mary took his hand and stayed. Opening to the next chapter.
