      “You’ve been avoiding me all day. Is everything okay? Was it something I said? I promise I didn’t meant to hurt you if I did. I just... you’re worrying me a little, that’s all.” The smile on her face was deceiving as she searched the other's face for answers. The complete opposite of the tousled ball of anxiety that was growing in her stomach.

      “Okay, can we just stop for a second. At this point I don’t even know why we were fighting in the first place. What is really going on? You’ve been yelling at me nonstop, but I have no idea what I've done to upset you. Can we just talk about it for a second? Like the adults we actually are?”

      Peeking to see who was at the door, she let out a sigh as the doorbell rang again.“alright, alright. i’m opening the door!” ziva called through the door as the other continued to ring the doorbell. “what on earth is so urgent that you keep ringing my doorbell?!” demanded with a cross expression.

      “What is this? The Spanish Inquisition?!” She trills. “What on earth did you think I did?! You act like I’m some kind of monster or a cheat? What did I do wrong?”

        “Is...is something wrong? You haven’t been speaking to me all day. Did I... did I do something?” Ziva asked cautiously, hesitantly moving in to the room.
