Merry Christmas to my awesome and amazing-tastic twin sister, @chelseyjohnsonconceptdesign / @coogarajasmine  <3 I've always heard of how much she enjoys Shatt (Shiro x Matt) and hearing from her roleplays of specifically a Witch!Matt and Werewolf!Shiro (or the opposite...can't remember x'3)...so decided to draw these two in the snow with Black the fluffy cat curled beside them. Arrangements of Christmas goodies along the blanket of snow too. :)

~starter~ @coogarajasmine “Me relax?” Madison said outloud to her tv. “I don’t need to relax.” The commercial continued playing, ‘Come relax with us & don’t forget to pick up a membership card to get discounts throughout the year!’ Madison sipped her tea. “I’m not stressed. Nope. Not at all. My kitchen is clean. My job is stable. That’s all that matters.” She turned back to her fridge & began looking at her calendar. There was nothing for her to do. God was she lonely. A good hour passed before she grabbed her purse & keys, maybe she would just check out the new spa. How bad could it be? But more importantly, how expensive could it be? Thankfully Madison lived smack in the middle of town which meant she could walk just about anywhere in 10 minutes. And in about 13 she was at the towns nee spa resort. Shyly she walked in. The bright lights, pastel pink uniforms & unnecessary amount of plants didn’t intimidate her! She walked straight over to the counter only to whisper, “um..... hi.... how much is your membership?”

There was something whimsical about the aesthetic of early Winter. Halloween decorations were quickly replaced with colorful fairy lights on every building and appeared earlier every day as daylight became more sparse.   Not that Graduate Student and T.A., Matthew Holt ever saw much daylight during any season. The office of Graduate Student Affairs at his small town University was a small box with no windows, probably to resemble the overpriced prison that it was.

Matt found himself sitting at the small corner cubicle the Physics Department had given him, dodging the half finished cups of coffee and chicken scratch post-it notes that littered the desk to read through the disorganized mess of his class’ final exam essays.

The essays focused predominantly on theoretical astrophysics and were clearly  all bullshitted the night before, typed in point 20 font to fit the page requirement with supportive textual evidence that took up the majority of the page.

Eyes half lidded he flipped through another student paper clearly taken off of “Write-My-Essays.com” and tossed it aside into a pile of other papers with red marks scattered up and down the pages. He adjusted his glasses, pushing them up the bridge of his nose, before reaching for a ceramic mug with the words printed “Wold’s Best Big Brother”. He took a sip of the coffee, but immediately spit it out. It was cold and God only knows how long it had actually been sitting on his desk. He could have sworn he  just brewed that cup only an hour ago, but he wasn’t entirely sure how much time had actually passed since then.

He pulled out his phone to check the time, noticing that he had several text messages from his mother wondering where he was. She should have known that during Final Exam season the concept of time didn’t exist and that he couldn’t stop by her place on his way home to help her with whatever chores she needed doing. It was already 11:00PM and most of the other Professors and T.A.’s had left for the evening, and while he was exhausted, there was still so much work to do. He slammed his head down on his desk before letting out a small, elongated groan.  “Ow....”

She wanted to snark something like “Meet a lot of Galran reporters in your corner of the war?” but they were technically allies, now, and Valoren had warned her to be on her best behavior.

“No,” she answered.  "My name is Cairis.  I work for The Voice of the Empire - the propaganda component.  I’m the… social interests?  Fluff piece?  I’m the reporter that asks the personal - not too personal! - questions so the listening and reading audience can get to know the person being interviewed.“

She drew in a deep breath.

"I saw you and thought I’d ask if you would allow me to interview you sometime?  At your convenience, of course.”

Her skin was crawling, her fur bristling slightly.  This was a Human from Earth - one of those who piloted Voltron and had ruined everything; upset the normal routine and made everything complicated.  She wasn’t entirely certain she wouldn’t be killed by this one or a different Human just for being Galra.

But she had a job to do and a paycheck to earn.

And so far, the shorter being hadn’t been hostile or rude.

There was no reason to not at least make the attempt for an interview with one of the ‘winning’ side.

What would happen if Matt randomly came across a werewolf, and it just so happened to be Shiro? (@coogarajasmine / Shiro )

Freak out a little. Maybe scream and totally not almost pee his pants as he runs off, upsetting poor Shiro, who just wanted to talk to the cute botanist. They meet again under better circumstances (where matt isn’t scared shitless) he probably stumbles over himself and makes a stupid pun like “can we put this conversation on PAWse because I’ve got to say, you’re a pretty CLAWesome dude.” Or.. “must be RUFF being so hot all the time” utterly sarcastically and the best part about that one was that it was said under his breath but Shiro definitely heard it and Matt blushed so hard his ears turned pink

1. Are you named after anyone? Yeah! My first name is from my paternal grandmother, and my middle name is from my maternal grandmother

2. When was the last time you cried? Oof probably cried in frustration at work sometime in the last two months? Before that I definitely cried at my uncle’s funeral back in October.

3. Do you have any kids? lmao not yet

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? 😒😒😏

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Body language and eyes

6. Eye color? Green

7. Scary movie or happy ending? Happy ending!

8. Any special talent? I mean I’m studying ceramics and before that I was studying graphic design and illustration lol. Not half bad at cosplay.

9. Where were you born? Northeast OH, USA

10. Hobbies? Cosplay, digital painting, ceramics, theatre. I grew up as That Art Kid™️ and it stuck lmao

11. Any pets? personally no, but my mom has a cat and my dad has a dog and I think both animals are lovably dumb

12. What’s sports do you/have you played? Volleyball, cheerleading, track (sprints), and marching band (if you count it; I played alto sax). I dance and swim in my free time now and really want to get into triathlons if I can keep up the motivation lol.

13. How tall are you? 5’2”

14. Favorite subject in school? Art, choir, and history!

15. Dream job? Ceramics professor at a collegiate level. It’s why I’m slowly but surely working on my MFA!
