Is Minecraft an Addiction?
A local news station in Portland, recently put out a piece about if Minecraft is just another video game addiction or a real learning experience. People are starting to see how the creativity side of Minecraft is so beneficial, and even educational. The question is, after Minecraft has sucked you in for hours on end, is the creative plus outweighed by things like a diminished social life? I say that you need to have a good balance. As long as you only go on for a few hours a day, and then do something with your family and other people, you should be just fine. Also, the game mode of Multiplayer, allows you to socialize with other people. Granted, this is not the same as face to face, but you are interacting with people, and dealing with human to human situations.
What are your thoughts?

That first part is totally me, I NEED a schedule or I get nothing done. Also, I hate it so much, but with the amount of schoolwork I get throughout the year, I never have time to read. Thankfully in the summer, I have loads of time to read. :-)
Ironically, I've been waiting for summer to finally have lots of time to read, yet it's here and I just don't feel like reading. It's like, I need to be in a "working mode" to get anything done. Summer just isn't a great way to put me into my "working mode." xD
