Celebrate Easter with this delightful Giant Easter Cookie! A soft and chewy cookie, loaded with chocolate chips and colorful candy-coated chocolate eggs, perfect for sharing with your loved ones.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 large egg yolk. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup pastel-colored candy-coated chocolate eggs.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 325F 165C and put parchment paper around the edges of a round baking pan. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a different large bowl. Mix the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract into the sugar. Mix until it's nice and smooth. Slowly add the dry flour mixture to the wet mixture while stirring just until everything is combined. The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. Press the cookie dough into the baking pan so that it's spread out evenly. Put the pastel-colored chocolate eggs with candy coatings on top of the dough. After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. It will be a little soft in the middle. Take the cookie out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Move the cookie carefully to a wire rack to cool all the way down. After the cookie has cooled, you can add more candy or frosting to make it look nicer if you want to. Cut this tasty Giant Easter Cookie into pieces and serve them!
