Aside from using perspex and FEV’s, I tried to find other ways of creating faux stained glass. Through research, I found that you can melt plastic beads as use it as the glass. This is something I hope to further experiment with as all of my attempts weren’t really too successful. To begin with, I was using ice cube trays which were not 100% silicone. This meant that it melted in the oven and stuck to the cookie sheet you can see in the background. 

I did also try it in a baking tin, which had a different issue in that it didn’t want to come out of the tin. Again on another occasion, I used the baking tin lined with grease proof paper. Once the plastic had completely cooled - I left it overnight - the greaseproof paper came off easily. 

I was using Hama beads for my experiments. However, I have found that many people have had more success with pony beads.
