Nutrition tip #2: eat only when HUNGRY. This is huuuge! This alone would solve tons of health issues. Many of us don't even know what hungry feels like. It's when you are ready to eat almost anything. Anything edible that is, within common sense and your diet restrictions. When you feel like having an ice cream, it's not hunger. It's a preference / a whim / sugar craving. Hunger is a very functional feeling. It signals your brain that is a good time for your body to eat and that the previous meal has DIGESTED. When you eat before you're truly hungry, your body is still working on processing what's already inside or other issues (inflammation, infection, etc.) and won't be able to properly process the new food. Hence the weight gain, poor digestion and absorption of nutrients, gas, high blood sugar, cholesterol, hypertension, fatigue, brain fog and the list goes on! So don't eat when you just want something specific. Also, don't eat just because it's time / lunch break / there's food around / a friend is eating. Only eat when you're hungry. #cookingisfun #cookingislove #cookingislife #cookingismytherapy #cookingistherapy #cookingismyhobby #cookingistherapeutic #cookingiseasy #cookingissexy #cookingismything #cookingishealthy #anyonecancook #youcancook #eatingoutisoverrated #hungryisgood #nutritionadvice #nutritiontips #nutritionmatters #nutritiontipoftheday #eatwhenhungry #healthandwellnessjourney #healthandwellnessblogger #wholefoodnutrition #wholefoodsdiet #wholefoodslife #wholefoodeating #healthyfoodchoices #healthyfoodlove
