Quick hair care tip 💁 1️⃣ Before taking a shower apply Zenlotion on the ends and where your hair/scalp is dry. 2️⃣ Keep it for a couple hours. It will moisturize, smoothen and nourish your hair 🌰 3️⃣ Wash your hair as usual. 4️⃣ While your hair is still wet, rub a little bit of Zenlotion between your palms and apply briefly where your hair would get frizzy. Do you use a toner? What do you think is the purpose of toning? I used to skip it altogether before a cosmetician told me that its purpose was to restore the skin pH after cleansing. Especially if you're cleansing with something soapy. . The skin pH is more acidic (5.5) compared to the rest of the body (7.4), to fight bacteria. . The easiest way to restore the skin's pH is to apply a weak solution of unrefined apple cider vinegar (ACV) in water (~1 tbs per cup) with a cotton disc. . You can get creative and make a more advanced toner: + 0.5 cup witch hazel + 0.5 cup water + 1 tbs ACV + 1 tbs aloe vera gel + a few drops of tea tree essential oil. Shake well before each use. I also like to experiment with other natural antioxidants / astringents and add them to my toner, like: 🌿 green tea 🌿 matcha tea 🌿 lemon juice (small amount) 🌿 cucumber juice 🌿 essential oils 🌿 vitamin C powder You can also make a "smoothie" using a cucumber and any of the above to apply as a mask.
