#CookingWithCA Out did myself tonight...really need to remember what the hell I did in order to recreate this dish 😬 So one of the things I love about cooking (besides eating the food) is the creativity involved: not every meal can be a masterpiece or a well thought out and planned culinary event. Many times you have to make due with what you got. I had some chicken breast defrosted so I had to cook it-I HATE chicken breast because it's so damn boring- so I decided to quickly marinate the meat (white wine, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, sage, black pepper) and slow cook in a pan. Not sure how long I marinated or cooked it for but it came out tender, juicy and shredded easily. The flavor was really surprising, actually. The white wine reduced to create a sweet and charred exterior, yet still moist and succulent. Moral of the story- don't be afraid to make due with what you got and try something new. Enjoy
