Hey. If you want a cool nickname, you can’t wait around for someone to give you the right one. You just gotta start introducing yourself as Jackalope Jenny or Dragon or Slipshod Steve or Fork or Cloudshifter 3000 or Knife or Decaf or Slizzy or whatever. Go for it and refuse to be ashamed.
Change your profile name and stick to it. If someone is weird about it it’s their problem. If someone tells me his name is Sebastian but he also goes by Rat, and he doesn’t have a preference, well, he’s in my phone as Rat now. I know someone called Metal. I know another that changes their name semi-regularly but it’s always a type of bird.
Do whatever. Get a cool nickname. Put it on your tombstone.
