D.I.Y. COOL PERSONALIZED NOTEBOOK

after a lot of days promising that I would post the d.i.y for my 2017′s notebook, here it is! hope you like it!

WHAT YOU GONNA NEED

- kraft paper

- contact paper

- filler paper (squared <3)

- glue

- hot glue

- elastic

- a ruler

OPTIONALS: a sewing machine to sew the pages together and something to personalize your notebook (like my cool letter “S”, the pencil and a black marker).

1. first of all, I sewed my paper together (10 sheets at a time) to make it firm. if you don’t have access to a sewing machine, you can sew with a needle or just glue everything.

2. after that, I glued my little blocks to get everything together.

3. then, it’s time to make the cover! I did it a little bit bigget than A4 size, just to be sure that the sheets would fit in it.

4. now, it’s the best part ever: personalize it! I drew this letter “S” by pressing the pencil on the drawing, which was on top of the cover. after that, I added this detail to the cover’s spine, just to make it look like a composition notebook.

5. after that, I applied the contact paper and attached the cover to the sheets with lots of glue and pressed it to be sure that everything would get together.

6. then, I attached a elastic to the cover with hot glue.

7. here you can see the inside of my notebook (and how I suck at applying contact paper).
