Alright I’ve found all the Nameless Treasures in Liyue and its got a small bit of lore about the Dragon that was sealed away. Presumably the one in the vault in The Chi of Guyun. I need to reevaluate my understanding of the timeline and the known specifics of the Archon War.

Edit: Nope the one in the vault in The Chi of Guyun is literally The Sea Monster Chi. I am big dumb. Also this all happened during the Archon Wars, so keep that in mind.

Okay so we get its name, Azhdaha. Whats interesting is that it wasn’t straight up a normal dragon, as normal as a dragon can be. But it is a being formed from the fusing of a mass of Geo spirits. For what reason did Geo spirit need to fuse or was it just happenstance. I may have been really wrong about where the dragon is in the timeline. Because the Adepti were specifically summoned to fight the demons spawned from the remains of defeated Gods from the Archon War. And this may be the reason the dragon spawned.

And apparently I was wrong, Rex Lapis and Guizhong did not seal it away together since she died in the Archon War. Rex Lapis and 3 Adepti sealed it away. Theyi created the caverns under the mountain next to Qingce Village and then sealed it within.

Now we know Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper were of the 3 summoned, but the third was scrubbed out of existence. For what reason and why? Its not said. It could be Cloud Retainer or Xiao. It could even be one of the other 4 Yakshas since they are the only other named Adepti. Or could be another that’s unnamed, but its more likely to be one of the named.
