It's pretty hard to believe that 2018 would be the year the wallet decided to turn smart.
Typically, every decade there is some sort of breakthrough or advancement, so really I guess we were about due for one. A smart wallet was something that seemed so distant, but now is becoming more and more popular on the market. In the 2000s we met the iPod, in 2010 we were introduced to our now beloved smartphone. Now that we are advancing at such a fast rate it seems as though every 4 years now we see a revolutionary product come alive such as the smart speaker in 2014. This brings me back to my original statement of this year being the year the wallet became smart. We now can digitally pay for things, making physical currency a rarity, so bulky wallets are not the best or very functional anymore. Wallets nowadays have to be sleek, thin, secure, and most recently trackable with GPS, just like the one I am about to introduce you to.
Meet Ekster 3.0 which meets all of the criteria and more.
Ekster 3.0 is a unique voice summoned smart wallet that is only a tiny 0.4 inches in thickness. Within this small frame it contains room to store up to 12 cards, cash, as well as a GPS tracker so you will never lose it ever again. Incorporated is a trigger mechanism that makes it easy to pop your cards out for use. As most wallets found on Amazon are nowadays such as Volterman, it has a RFID protected space for another 6 cards, in addition to a stretchy band that can hold any bank notes you may have. Ekster has a very cool looking tough hard case to ensure that it will never bulge like most leather wallets do either.
Ekster is completely reliable and trackable using GPS as mentioned on their Kickstarter page. With the ability of being voice summoned through Amazon Alexa or Google Home, this wallet is pretty futuristic and secure. If you are one who tends to lose their belongings then don't look any further!
