Asuka is a kid dealing with mental illness and pressure put on her by society. She feels the need to be the best and put down others bc that’s the only way she can receive praise and validation. If someone is better than her, she completely crashes, can’t handle failure. I might be missing character elements but is that Vriska like??

I love a lot of those fandoms so I’ll suggest a few different characters and whichever one ur feeling the most is cool! Prussia, Blue Diamond, Yoshikage Kira

I hope you like them! I honestly couldn’t choose between the two Queens so I drew both!!! Honestly Kira is one of my fave non romantic Jojo Villian. He would hate my hands let me tell you.Also Blue Diamond is my favorite Diamond!! Ha ha @coolgaybug Kira almost killed me with his hair.

O i want to say I 100% agree w you on araki not writing good female characters, I'm not trying to pull a Gatcha! Here. I was just thinking about that post and I realized the only female character we have that doesn't exist only to fall in love w a man or be sexual w a man is Enya. But I feel like there's something to be said if the only female character who isn't like that is the one that can't be sexualized.

oh you’re so right tbh. actually while i was making the post i did think of a couple other examples like the stone ocean girls, and then to a minor extent characters like uh, Lisa Lisa or yasuho or maybe a couple other jojolion girls (although there’s some questionableness wrt all of those characters’ dependence on men too)

But you’re right because it also shows arakis hesitance to make female characters that aren’t conventionally attractive and young because it’s so hard to be a weirdo about them. maybe that’s why i really enjoy enya because she’s an example of a kind of character that i desperately want more of :(

One of the main things I notice in your art is the fluffy volume you give hair!! Also the way you draw mouths is very distinct especially with the lips and teeth, it’s overall just a very fun style and it gives a happy feeling when I look at it!!
