A refreshing twist on the classic julep, combining the flavors of ripe peaches and fragrant basil with bourbon for a delightful summer cocktail.
Ingredients: 2 oz bourbon. 1 oz peach syrup. 4-6 fresh basil leaves. Crushed ice. Fresh peach slices and basil sprigs for garnish.
Instructions: In a mixing glass, muddle basil leaves and peach syrup. Add bourbon and fill with crushed ice. Stir well to mix ingredients. Strain into a julep cup filled with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh peach slices and basil sprigs. Serve chilled.
