Yeah, stoic wasn't quite the word I was looking for honestly, though I've seen it used -- he's not inexpressive at all, but he has that sort of.. closed-off air about him? And some people interpret that as him being generally in-control of his- -emotions, which I think is a valid interpretation, though not one I really prefer.

I could see how people interpret him that way, but that is ignoring much of the narrative, and focusing solely on Levi’s face as basis for characterization.

in control of himself? sure, that's reasonable, though I don't think seeing him come undone is necessarily OoC; he's stoic but isn't emotionless at all and we've got no idea how he is romantically besides "clumsy" so who knows how he is sexually.- -but him being controlling of his lover is SO OoC, especially since recent chapters have shown that he's pretty much one of the few people to encourage Eren to make his own choices, and just... rrrrgh.

I would even question the thing about him being in control of himself, but that is an entirely different can of worms. I also don’t see him as stoic; he does have many expressions, but most of the time he looks miserable. Which I guess is the same as stoic now?

The SnK fandom is so volatile... I usually produce at least fanart for the series I love, but this fandom is so filled with hate and drama that I haven't managed to bring myself to post anything orz;; It's... frustrating.

I don't know... I've said this time and time again, but I don't really think the SNK fandom is any worse than any other. They are all the same to me. That said, I understand that it sucks, and it's stressful, but... doesn't mean that doesn't sadden me. Because I'm really not okay with bad people being all that remains in a place.
