A friend asked me to make her young daughter, who was just learning to play guitar, a guitar strap. As we were talking, she lamented that it is very hard to find guitar straps for young girls that aren't a little cheesy and commercial. She wanted something that reflected her daughter's personality and created something of a bond between the girl and her guitar. And that it certainly did. It also made me realize that I needed to try to meet the needs of many different kinds of musicians, including little girls who like pink. Because I like pink, too, and this strap whispers maybe just a bit to the little girl in me as well.
