3: Cygnus had his halo modified during his childhood in the Paradism cult and he paid a significantly cheaper Haloditor to erase it. But cheaper pay means a shady and horrible job done and the edited halo could resurface again. Think of it like a cheap and bad tattoo work.
5: Cygnus reunites with his mother (Svane) by coincidence. Svane can only speak Danish (and German to an extent). (translation made with a translator so apologies for any inaccuracy)
9-10: Formes canonically took Cygnus, Swanno and Axon under his wing and he becomes a sort of father figure for the three swans after his divorce was officialized. They're all broke tho. The Greater Broke Quartet Found Family :']

And I also got some bits of the timeline where it all went wrong so, bare with me. [tw: cheating, divorce, abuse and cult topics under the cut]
August Silberg was just a humble librarian working at a small library in the small town he lives in. His pays was plentiful enough to provide for his family. One day, a particular patron showed up, asking about some very specific books - which the library does provide. The same bird keeps showing up day after day and August has grown fond of her.
She introduces herself as Thea Thelma Anselm and claims she was a historian. These two would chat a lot whenever they could and this went on for a while. Thea, intrigued by August, asks if he wanted to take this into a more personal relationship. August retaliated at first, strictly claiming he's married and a father to 5 but Thea was insisted nobody would know if they kept it a secret. Eventually, August fell into Thea's charm. During the span of their secret relationship, Thea later reveals that she was "The Goddess of Paradise", founder to the Paradism cult. She told him she would make him "The King of Paradise" if he follows, and sure enough he did.
Back home, August changed. He was much more aggressive towards Svane and the kids. He would always insist to work longer hours in the library. Svane was taken aback by the change, but she tries to keep a positive mindset about it. Maybe his pays were being cut for some reason and he was stressing out to make ends meet. So she didn't question him too much. This was however uncovered accidentally by Cooper. He was visiting the library to find books for his homework when he accidentally stumbled across his father kissing another woman behind one of the shelves. Cooper, still being young and naive, went home and told his mother about it. Svane was devastated and furious. She finally caught him and Thea red-handed, but August defended Thea instead.
Svane decided that she had enough. She filed a divorce and took the three youngest (Lisabet, Emma and Emmy) with her and left the household, leaving the brothers under August's custody. August later marries Thea and became to so proclaimed "King of Paradise".
Unfortunately, with the marriage, both Cooper and Cygnus was also dragged into the cult. The two of them didn't want that, of course. They were forced into a strict dogma and lifestyle that was in no way healthy for them. Cooper would lash out on his father a lot, often to defend his little brother. Cooper would often take hard beatings from August to discipline him. Within the cult, they were often forced to witness horrors beyond traumatizing in such a young age. Once Cooper was 15 and Cygnus was 14, they both fled their home in the dead of night. Cooper had apparently stole a bunch of his father's cards and money in order to find a safer place to live. With a few clothes and other necessities they could bring in their bags they made the whole journey to the nearest airport. They would later flee the country and into North America, fearing if they stayed they could be taken in again.
Both of them lived in a safe house once they arrived, since they were in a foreign land and have nowhere to stay. They stayed until they were old enough to work for themselves. They both would work several part times until one day Cygnus breaks down, telling Cooper they can't keep living on edge like this, that they have to go back home or at least try to find their mother and siblings. Cooper grew angry towards him, he scolded him that there was no way he would return to the bastard that abused the both of them in that crazy cult. Cygnus kept insisting, saying he can't handle the stress and he knows he could turn his father back around again if he tried. Cooper wanted to leave everything behind and grew tired of Cygnus constantly thinking he could change his father and what he had done.
The fight kept on going until one day Cooper snapped and decided to dump Cygnus to fend for himself. He told him he wanted to work peacefully for himself from now on since he kept wasting his time convincing to go back to Denmark. Cygnus was now left alone to work for his own and thankfully did get a job later in Swan Air. Feeling guilty, Cygnus later seek out Cooper in his new office and asked if they could start over again. Cooper unfortunately took on a cocky and rude demeanor and told Cygnus to get out, saying he is doing fine without him and he should go back to his "lowpaying" job.
That's when their relationship grew distant. They barely ever see each other again, and if they do, it would always end in some sort of fight. Now Cooper constantly badmouths him behind his back while Cygnus never even acknowledges having a brother when asked by his co-workers.

First Officer/Co-Pilot Axon - Black Swan - He/They
Axon's roughly 1 and a half years older than Cygnus. They're very lax about his job as co-pilot because, face it, Cygnus does most of the work if it's not auto pilot. Axon doesn't really care about "being presentable at work", if it weren't for company regulations they would show up to work with a hawaiian shirt, uncombed and untied hair. Axon is also a very light sleeper - he has admitted that he gets most of his sleep when auto pilot is on. Has his upmost respect for Cygnus' overall diligence and piloting skills knowing how young he is.
Second Officer/Flight Engineer Andreas - Black Heron - He/Him
Andreas is the oldest out of all of the Swan Air staff who unfortunately cannot pension early due to the work contract. He has served Swan Air ever since it was first established, being one of the captains himself. In his older age however, he decided to step down the ranks and become a flight engineer instead. Andreas isn't so keen about someone as young as Cygnus and Axon handling the aircraft, but if they're doing well so be it. Andreas is also Parasol's father, although they've cut ties long ago and he doesn't want to talk about them unless you force him to.
Flight Attendant Dee - Dunlin - She/Her
One of the younger flight attendants in the staff. Her recruitment was mostly recent so she still has a lot to learn about serving passengers on flight. She's mostly cheerful and friendly even when faced with stress. Dee formed a close platonic bond with Maggie, her senior crewmate, and actually shares an apartment room with her. Dee is also close to most other Swan Air staff, including Cygnus and Axon. She's often offered to come along to drink after work, but she would always refuse.
Flight Attendant Maggie - Yellow Canary - She/Her
A more experienced flight attendant within the Swan Air staff. Maggie isn't the type to talk too much unless prompted so mostly handles the in flight safety procedures and assist passengers with their baggage. Maggie has seen the goods and the downright shits of the company, but decided not to do much about it because this was her only job. Maggie cares for Dee off schedule and teaches the young bird several life skills. Maggie gets along well with the rest of her aircrew but very much despises her boss, Seven. She would often be name-called by "Mango" by him and it irks her a lot.
Swan Air CEO Seven - Trumpeter Swan - He/Him
The current big bad boss of Swan Air, successor to his late father who was the founder of the company. Nobody in Swan Air really likes him one bit, which is not a surprise considering his awful leadership and work ethics. Seven forces strict regulations on his workers while pretty much excluding himself from any and all of the rules. How he evaded law and whatever remains a mystery to all the staff. He was actually once the company's best pilots in his younger age...wonder what happened. He's just a pure dick right now.
Cooper Silberg - Whooper Swan - He/Him
Cooper is Cygnus' older and more successful brother working in the business sector. Cygnus never mentions Cooper to anyone ever since he part ways with his family to live for himself so not many people even know he has a brother. Cooper, on the other hand, constantly badmouths Cygnus behind his back to flaunt how he's the better brother of the Silberg family. Cygnus tries his best to not hate him, but he always ends up being a nuisance if they ever meet. Cooper often bullies and taunts Cygnus by "offering" cash and credit what nots - but Cygnus never budged. Their relationship remains extremely distant to this day.
