Book review: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Why I decided to read it: It's been just a bit all over Tumblr and the lovely Milly said I liked it so I thought I should give it a go. Just to point out I as a weird rule never tend to read fiction written by men, but I should probably get rid of that. 

What is it about: FEEL ALL THE THINGS. 16 year old Hazel Grace (Lancaster) who has terminal cancer meets charismatic Augustus Waters at Support Group, a bittersweet love story ensues. 

What is good about it: I remember there was a quote by Florence Welch once saying how she made music that you just couldn't handle because of the beauty and overwhelmingness of it. That book is like this, it is a beautifully written book. The characters are likeable, funny, endearing, so unbelievably smart. There are countless amounts of quotes you just want to remember forever. It is full of emotion and heart, both of love and ache. 

What is bad about it: It's just a tad emotional but that's not a bad thing.

Overall: A gorgeous and sad love story about two extraordinary people *****
