I love this book and little dragon Xue Xian.

I had a lot of fun with this! Xue Xian is definitely a top character for me now, he's an angry grump and I adore him. Jiang Shining has a depth of sadness inside of him, I hope he will find peace. And Xuanmin.. *insert squinting gif* what's going on with him? It's certainly something... Looking forward to finding out.
I really enjoyed the two stories they became involved with; the Lu family, which was tragic and terrible and the Liu's which was even more tragic given what happened to the brothers. 💔
My only complaint is there was no illustration of tiny dragon Xue Xian wrapped around Xuanmin's wrist like a bracelet. I wanna see that. 🥹
Now on to the next one!
I've been reading Copper Coins, it's delightful! Xuanmin is such a mystery and Xue Xian is such a jerk, I love him.
They're perfect.
I picked up Copper Coins on my Kobo because I read couple positive reviews, it's good so far! I love Xue Xian already and I can't wait to learn more of his story.
If I end up liking volume one I'll buy the physical editions since there's only three. I can handle that.
