how would Team COAL use their semblances in battle?

 OKAY so semblance-wise Team COAL’s are my absolute favorite out of my OCs, and I’ve been wanting to draw them in action for ages - as such, I drew a lot. oops.

 So; very messy team combo action sequence under the cut!

So, say the team need to land a finishing blow to a big bad Grimm right?

Oak runs in Coppers direction, and Copper uses his semblance to carry on and spin their momentum upwards, sending them flying into the air.

While in the air, Oak uses their “Sure Shot” semblance to ensure they hit the Grimm with some stun shots to keep it right where it is.

As soon as it’s stunned, Ace uses his semblance to switch places with Oak, taking their place in midair and landing Oak safely on the ground.

Before he starts to come back down to Earth, Ace uses his semblance once more to switch places with Lumis, leaving Ace on the ground and Lumis airborn, right above the Grimm.

Lumis uses his semblance to increase the effects of gravity on himself, bringing him crashing down before the Grimm has a chance to unstun itself, and adding a hell of a lot more force to his punch as he deals the finishing blow.

And Boom - Team COAL one, Grimm zero.

I wondered, if team COAL had to do the initiation in the Emerald Forest, which member would make eye contact with the other, and which chess piece would they pick?

  In terms of Relics - Since Team COAL are in the year above the RWBY protags, the relics they would’ve had to retrieve would’ve been different (If what Glinda said was anything to go by). So probably:

I sent an ask abot a ship name between Lumis and Copper called Gravity Belt months ago which was never answer if you would considered abot that ship name. Also Copper would cosplay as Bill Cyper and Lumis as Dipper which a crack ship name idea of them being called Gravity Falls because of your Gravity Falls fan art. I SHIP IT HARD FOR LUMIS AND COPPER FOR MY THIRST OF YOUR ART IS REALLY HARD IN THE MIND *winks*

Ace: Wizkid / Magic Man / Card Shark / Dumbass

Lumis: Spaceman / Featherweight / Tall Blonde and Floaty
