An Atlantic white-sided dolphin (Lagenorhynchus acutus) plays in the bow wave of a of a cargo ship whose bulbous bow would be invisible when fully loaded. The red paint, which is rich in copper, is poisonous for drag-producing subaquatic organisms such as barnacles and makes it difficult for them to attach. It is called anti fouling.
