Rapid rise in glyceryl monostearate 40% prices
A rise in glyceryl monostearate 40% prices in the Ahmedabad market was noticed today. Prices have gained on the back of acute shortage of the material in the market. On December 14, 2022, the price of glyceryl monostearate in Ahmedabad was Rs.2 per kg more than its previous price. Today prices of the commodity is at Rs.150/Kg.
Kandla records high BGE prices
On October 21, 2022, Petrochem sources confirmed that BGE prices had risen in the Kandla market. Prices rose on the back of strong regional demand trends. The current price of BGE (imported tanker load) went higher from Rs.156/Kg to Rs.158/Kg.
Anionic surfactant prices gain in Mumbai
On October 21, 2022 anionic surfactant prices were much pushed higher in the Mumbai market. The sharp price rise was triggered by continuous tight product availability. Today, anionic surfactant domestic repack prices were assessed at Rs.230/Kg, a spike of Rs.2/Kg, from the last price of Rs.228/Kg.
Delhi sees a cut in DINP prices
A cut in DINP prices in the Delhi market was recorded today. Petrochem sources reported DINP prices have fallen due to poor demand in the imported market. On October 21, 2022 prices in Delhi for imported intact were at Rs.144/Kg, a cut of Rs.2/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.146/Kg.
Dimethyl silicone fluid prices southbound in Delhi
Dimethyl silicone fluid grade L.K prices registered a sharp fall in the imported market of Ahmedabad. Weak regional demand coupled with excess supply led to the price fall. Petrochem sources confirmed that dimethyl silicone fluid would, however, maintain a balanced trend going ahead. On August 06, 2022, dimethyl silicone fluid grade L.K imported intact prices in Delhi went down from Rs.598/Kg to Rs.596/Kg, a slip of Rs.2/Kg.
MEK demand up at Kandla
An elevated trend is noticed in MEK prices. Reports of improved demand trends supported the price rise in the Mumbai market. Prices gained, mainly on account of limited product availability. On July 28, 2022, MEK imported tanker load prices at Kandla were assessed at Rs.130/Kg, a rise of Rs.3/Kg, from the previous price of Rs.127/Kg.
Zinc oxide (99.5%) prices higher in Delhi
Zinc oxide prices registered a rise in the market of Delhi. Strong regional demand and heavy supply led to the price rise. Petrochem sources confirmed that zinc oxide prices would move further up in the coming days. On August 6, 2022, Zinc oxide prices in Delhi went up from Rs.240/Kg to Rs.250/Kg, a hike of Re.10/Kg.
Recycled lead prices edge down in Mumbai
On August 6, 2022, Petrochem sources reported a fall in secondary lead prices in the mumbai market. Debilitated regional demand and excess supply have led to the price fall. The current price of secondary lead in Mumbai went down from Rs.192/Kg to Rs.190/Kg, a fall of Rs.2/Kg.
