hi, i'm so sorry if this is an annoying question- but are you continuing where could i go?
Not an annoying question at all!
As of right now, the current incarnation of 'Where Could I Go?' likely won't be continued...BUT behind the scenes, I've been rewriting it to be more structured, since when I began writing that story, I didn't have much of a plot in mind.
So I guess the answer is yes, but not in its current state. A rewrite might be coming in the next few months-ish if real life isn't crazy busy.
♥️♥️
I just have so many questions about tribal lore. We know from Carja glyphs that they left the Nora and followed Araman west out of the mountains, but what do the Nora tell the younger generations of that split in the tribe?
It's all oral tradition, and mainly about All-Mother and the warnings of the Old World and the Metal Ruins. Was the story of half the tribe leaving omitted from the Nora oral history? If so, why?
Did the split contribute to the declaration of the Sacred Lands and enforcement of the border and rules of exile and outcasting?
Will we get to go back to Nora lands to find out more? There's so many loose ends there, still, I feel. I want to go back and at least see Sona again.
Theres something so viscerally unsettling as to the atmosphere Matt sets as Bell's Hells navigate their way through the excavation site.
It's unnerving enough to have powerful magic-users nerfed by the environment, but added with other magical concentration devices like batteries, amplification mirrors, arcane cables funneling power somewhere -- and the scope of its intention so unknown it's terrifying, but they're there and they'll try their best to do something about all that's going on. There is heightened security and increased suspicion, Warders and alarms and some of the most powerful mages Bell's Hells have met thus far all gathered in one place-- everything is on alert against infiltrators and it adds so much to the palpable tension.
But the physical environment isn't the only obvious thing that unsettling. The dispel-magic waves going every minute on the minute leaves just enough time between talking or doing things to pause and take note of its effects and also the surroundings, but constant enough it's almost like a heartbeat; subtle, and in the background, but counting time to something bigger than we can comprehend.
I found a nice patch of grass
Hoping so badly we get a return to inter-tribal conflict in h3, I want the juicy drama of tribal relationships again, but also world and tribal lore
