Althea's just here to look hot and scope out information. She feels a little weird about being here in general, but the music's fun and there's booze so it's not all bad.

She wakes up with a vampire on top of her, teeth dipped deep into her neck. There's a deep ache, and a euphoric daze as her eyes roll open and she winces for a second, exhaling before Aria pulls her face back, and Autumn watches her tongue blood from her lips with wakeful confusion as she issues a confused smile. "Ow?"

'Happy Birthday.'

There's breakfast, and Autumn eats it, because she's hungry. Because the past couple weeks have been... not wonderful, but better. She's feeling tentatively better. Better enough to eat everything Aria's cooked for her. Better take a shower unprompted, to scrape the scruff from the line of her jaw. Better enough to kind of feel like a person.

They spend the day together - no shot the store's open. Before lunch, she decides she wants to be outside before the big party tonight.

They drive to Overlook, and they have a picnic in the early fall. It's not perfect - she thinks about the moments she's had here, good and bad. But she tries to focus on what she has right now. They smoke a bowl together and eat the food they've picked up on the way - Aria gets another nip too.

They're there for most of the afternoon - and then its back home, where she's assaulted with gifts. A fountain pen, which she's been waffling on buying forever, longer than she's even known Aria (which makes her wonder...) and it makes her want to write almost immediately; a copy of her favorite film, cheekily on VHS in a sleeve with commissioned art (did Ren draw this?). Some new shirts, some tea and candles that seem to be a little more than tea and candles as she sips a cup and the scent of the flame curls up into her nose. And lastly, a book of memories - photos of Aria that are enough to make her flush with embarrassment as she flips through its panels with her mouth hanging open.

It's Halloween, and they're going out, because she'd promised she'd try. The afternoon's filled with a few other things, private things that leave them both shower-ready before they pull on costumes spun out of Autumn's couch-locked binging. Two lovers, perfect and awful for eachother in equal measure. The idea had made them both laugh, and then both scratch their chins. It was too perfect.

In front of the mirror, before they leave, Autumn eyes Aria's smile in the mirror. "This isn't fair. Your fangs are better."

Ivar is attending the Halloween party dressed as Indiana Jones, looking less history professor and more rockstar explorer. His tattoos peek through the open shirt. He’s dragging his sister with him, because she doesn’t know how to have fun without him, and he fully intends to make sure she does. ( @majagrim )

Jace says Val Zod is the cooler Superman, therefore it fits him perfectly. He's not really sure what to do here at the rave, but at least he's not at the hospital dealing with mishaps from haunted houses.

Maybe she's being a little cheeky with her choice of costume, but her scars aren't going to stop her from feeling herself and making it loud and clear that the woman on her arm is her's.
